Game Revisions
Here is the link to my revised game. After reading the feedback from my classmates, I added a directions page to the beginning of my game. I hope this eliminates all of the confusion. I also included the directions in the project notes on the side of the screen. For my game, you have to use the left and right arrows to position the sword under the fireball so that you can shoot it. When you type the answer in the box you have to press the space bar, and if the answer is correct, that will fire the sword. Thanks for all the positive comments! I am still working on the second level of the game.

I like the directions you gave for the game. It now made sense. I would considering changing (if possible) the speed at which the knight glides back and forth. I know this is probably a Scratch issue, but he is either really fast or not at all. Maybe not something that can be adjusted in your programming.
ReplyDeleteThis was super fun to play! I love the sound effect made when shooting the fire ball! I think as far as leveling this game it would need to be about speed. The second level fire ball falls match faster than the first level fire ball!
ReplyDeleteNice work Abigail!
I think you are on the right path and will look good when you finish up. I like the sounds you picked. They work well together.
ReplyDeleteThe instructions are great.... and I love the sound effect when he shoots the fireball.
ReplyDeleteI enjoy playing your game. It is interactive and makes me use my brain. The directions page was very useful.
ReplyDeleteThe only thing I can think of to change is adding the second level.
I enjoyed playing your game it is a fun way to practice multiplication. I like how the sword is use to aim at the fireball and save the day with a correct answer. This is a game with rewards in the game. Great Job.
ReplyDeleteThe only improvement I would suggest is that when an incorrect answer is given, I would make a display that says incorrect. It took me a minute to realize that an incorrect answer makes the sword fly to the left.
